At Kingston United Methodist Church we work towards loving God and loving neighbor.
Our small but dedicated congregation lives out much of our outreach through the ministry of The Feed Truck.
We also reach out to the needs of the community and the ministries of the United Methodist Church. On the first Sunday of each month, we take a special collection that is donated to the ministry of the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR).Compelled by Christ, UMCOR works to be a voice of conscience on behalf of the people called Methodist, UMCOR works globally to alleviate human suffering and advance hope and healing.
We also have justice partnerships with local agencies, such as First Friends of NJ & NY, who work towards, upholding the inherent dignity and humanity of detained immigrants and asylum seekers, as well as the Franklin Food Bank, who serves the food needs of our immediate neighbors in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
Kingston UMC also makes its physical space available for a variety of recovery groups, so that each and every person feel supported and has a place of refuge.
